I really enjoyed painting these. I think the first two looked a lot like some harry potter characters, then again i may have thought of this cause i currently finished reading the harry potter books yet again so i decided to do the third one as dumbledore.

Im a Huuuuuge Star Wars fan and i was painting random images actually and i decided i would paint Yoda and rather liked how he turned out so i thought i would share him. I particularly like this one cause i used my custome brushes for everything and im really pleased with how well they worked.

Clothing Study

This was meant to be a Clothing Study. So at first i found the first outfit, worn by Carson. Then i couldn't find full outfits from other people, just head shots on facebook, so i just decided to do all outfits worn by Carson. Hence the name tag, his beads, and his camera. So it turned into a portrait of Carson.

But back to the clothes, they helped me understand more about push and pull for folds in clothing, and it forced me to make some new brushes to make the jeans and now im in love with them.

Im entered into the new CGTalk contest for the Secret agent and i just wanted to show my Work In Progress. Im doing a girl that is a secret agent that just stole documents from an office that was under top security and the only way out the building is out the window. there is an agent that jumped out behind her but silly man forgot he doesnt have a cord attached to him like she does. big explosion in the background and some agents flung out the window as well.

So this is my entry to a small contest i found on Deviantart. The character itself is copyright to HelloBaby on DeviantArt.com .
I really enjoyed makeing this. I worked on it on and off for the past week or two. I learned a lot of things while painting this. I really enjoy that about contests, you have to paint something they want you to paint, not something you may paint yourself, so you have to make yourself learn new things in order to finish it. So i enjoy entering contests cause i feel that it helps me grow as an artist.

I still go to my classes in Sheridan and we been learning some stuff in grey scale and i decided to do a portrait with grey tones only. There is still some issues with is but im proud of it all the same. Always open for feedback =)
I think i might start commisions soon for portraits. would be nice practice as well.

Well this is the new picture i finished. I call it Blue Alligator.

I really enjoy pictures of people with head phones and i thought i might enjoy painting a picture of a girl with headphones. i was right, this was a fun painting to do. that and my favorite opposite colors are blue and orange. I really enjoyed painting this and i think there shall be another on the way.

Oh man so i got a virus on my computer and no matter how many different things i try i cant seem to get anything to take it off my computer. Now its crashing and freezing my computer. i dont care, next paycheck, its ALL going on my computer to get it fixed. I cant stand this.

So the contest at deviantart, i literally entered it LAST minute. i barelly even made it. See i dont know why, but for some reason i thought it wasnt due until the 21st and oh man was i horribly mistaken. So i went onto the contest information to see what time i was due and i read that it is actually do TODAY! well ... yesterday i guess now that its 3 AM . So i cancelled going to class and worked like a mad woman. Im greatful i been working on it like everyday so i didnt have toooo much to do. I just had the characters left to finish but still, thats a lot to cram in one day.

So non-stop i sat infront of my computer atfter work (noon) and been working on it the whole time. i got my friend Matt to help me out with suggestions and drawing the people for me. Thank you Matt, owe you sooo much.

So as im finishing it i go to save it and omg i get the blue screen of death. I only ever heard of it. I honestly never seen it before. And let me tell you, when your working on something, that you have to finish within the next 20 minutes and still be able to upload it within that 20 min, and you worked on it for 30 min and are trying to save and that screen pops up, IT IS THE UGGLIEST BLUE SCREEN OF DEATH EVER. Lets just say i had a few choice words for my computer that we're rather colorful and threatening as i rebooted my computer.

it wasnt so bad. no crashed files. So i had no other choice, i went back to painting, finished it, and literally uploaded it last minute.

Many things tried to stop me while working on this entry, but in the end i submitted it and im so happy right now.

I have in mind to paint some realistic portraits of the disney princess. Tell you what, it is HARD to find good reference photo's of native women for Phochantas, any suggestions on where to find some photo's of native women i will always take gladly.

Anyways i need to go to bed cause my back is sore and im missing Ratatouille. =)

Ok so im slammed.

I got the worst luck. My computer decided a couple days ago it would go hang out with "bad influences" and decided it would grab a virus while it was at it. Its this weird pop up thingy saying you have billions of virusus and the only way to get rid of them is to purchase THEIR software for 90$. Its called Personal Antivirus and its driving me crazy.

The worst part is i cant afford to get my computer in and have it looked at so there isnt anything i can do. I ran three different virus scans and all of them say i dont have a virus. So i typed in on google the name of the virus pop up thingy and all these people say its a sales thing and it does everything its doing to me to get me to buy their product. They show you how to get rid of it but every time i try to download different things to get rid of it it stops half way through and says it couldn't continue. ARGH!!!!

As for the contest, i now have about 3 days to finish it and im not as far along as i need to be. I still havn't even started the characters yet. Im getting real nervous now. Im going to be working on it ALL day and hopefully, no, i have to get the background finished today no if's and's or but's.

Working on Contest

Hey everyone =)
Right now im just working on this contest being hosted on DeviantArt.com.
Its about good vs. evil. I chose my subject matter to be Mother Nature VS. Humankind at first. but after 3 attempts i changed my mind. Its still Mother Nature but instead of mankind its now Pollution.
I had a lot of troubles with it in the beginning, i think it was due to poor planning personally.
I kept changing it, but i didnt feel like it was really makeing the message that i wanted. And i wanted Mother Nature to look like, when you would see her you would automatically know it was her. And i dont think that was happening. She more or less looked like a hot chick, but thats about it. I wanted her to be more supernatural. So i ended up changing that but i still didnt like it.
So in the end i scraped the entire idea and now im working on something completely different with Mother Nature and Pollution being the only thing the same. Its kind of a street fighter theme. I think i may upload a picture of the work in progress so far.
Well i have about 6 days left to finish painting the background, get the characters drawn in, paint them, then add lighting and shadows. Sounds like fun. I just hope i finish it in time =P
